    Occupational Therapy is a form of therapy focused on developing, rehabilitating and maintaining the skills needed to complete the actives of daily living that are most important to the person. A person who would benefit from occupational therapy, could be recuperating from a physical or mental illness as well as someone who is experiencing a decline due to the progression of a chronic disease. Occupational therapy practitioners enable people of all ages to live life to its fullest by helping them promote health, and prevent—or live better with—injury, illness, or disability. Occupational therapy services typically include an INDIVIDUALIZED EVALUATION and interdisciplinary plan of care to meet specified goals.
